Your Responsibilities

We are currently looking for Animal Caretakers for farms in Kalmar County for the spring work of 2025.

About the Position:

We are currently seeking dedicated and responsible animal caretakers for full-time positions in Kalmar County. Your main responsibilities will include daily care of cows, which involves daily attention, milking with robots (Lely or Delaval), as well as tethered milking. Feeding and health checks are also part of your daily work. Machine operation is also involved, so we consider it a significant advantage if you have experience operating tractors or loaders. Working hours are full-time/daytime (40 hours/week). Weekend work may occur. Salary according to collective agreement, vacation pay, and occupational pension.

You will work from home and follow the schedule assigned to you. We offer comprehensive insurance for your safety while on assignments, and you will always have a present and supportive manager available throughout your assignment.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a good eye for animals and experience working with cows. Important qualities include being loyal and conscientious, flexible, and structured. Working on a farm involves a lot of freedom under responsibility, and you should not be afraid to jump in where needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience with cows/cattle
• Responsible and reliable.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Driver's license (B)
• Experience with machine operation is an advantage
• Knowledge of insemination/pregnancy checks is highly meritorious
